An actively managed “Global Balanced Fund” that provides exposure to traditional asset classes like equities, fixed income & commodities as well as alternative investments. Cash is viewed as an important asset class, especially during periods of heightened volatility.
The fund aims to provide long term capital preservation with consistent and sustainable returns targeted at 6-8% on an annualized basis.
The fund has an absolute return focus mentality where minimizing drawdown and compounding returns over time is key towards achieving the investment objectives. The fund aims to provide asset class, geographic and style diversification by investing in between 15 to 30 managed investments.
The fund predominantly invests in highly liquid managed investments comprising of mutual funds and ETFs, while maintaining the flexibility to invest directly into listed equities and over the counter fixed income securities to capitalize on market trends, themes and enhance the risk / reward profile when opportunities arise.
