Henry Leong

Chief Operating Officer

 

A Singaporean national, Henry has a wealth of experience in the business of financial services/capital markets, asset management, wealth management, private banking and private client advisory since 1987. Served as Executive Director and Head of Compliance and Risk, Schroder & Co., Asia. Responsible for setting up the Private Client Advisory business in his role as the Executive Director/Head of Finance and Operations in 2008 with Schroders’ acquisition of the advisory and asset management business from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), Singapore.

Firstly as Vice President-Operations, Private Banking Asia, CBA and subsequently, as SVP-Operations, Private Banking Asia and also acted as Head of Human Resource following CBA’s acquisition of the business of KE Swan in 2005. Served from 2000 as Head of Operations for KE Swan & Co. Pte. Ltd. to assist in the establishment of the business of financial/investment advisory, a joint venture with Kim Eng Holdings.

 

Head hunted in 1996 for Nomura Singapore as Vice President-Front Operations Manager and also acted as Operations Manager (Futures) after serving M & C Services (share registration services), an affiliate of KPMG as Senior Manager. Between 1987 and 1995 he was an Operations Manager/Company Secretary and  the Branch Manager for Lehman Brothers, Singapore. He practiced between 1984 to 1987, corporate secretarial compliance, accounting and insolvent liquidation with Price Waterhouse.
